Amazon The performance captured here at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles on 16 January 1977 stands as the highlight of that tour’s first leg. The band were in exhilarating form, their energy enhanced by the Pavilion’s superb acoustics, which lent the set an almost studio-like clarity and allowed every nuance of Tull’s musicianship to shine. This CD presents that performance in full, capturing Jethro Tull at their absolute finest, poised on the cusp of transformation.
